This is not true. I own the original Video Toaster board which came with
V2.0 software. I upgraded to 3.1 and it works perfectly. Since my board
hasn't been upgraded, I am wondering how long it will be until I regret
shelling out the extra cash (if ever). Originally, I heard that the old
board would not be supported in the future. However, the Toaster Flyer
*does* support the A2000 and the old board, according to information from
NewTek.
